Hi, I’m Annelise
I'm a performer with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from The Queensland Conservatorium. I have been teaching singing since 2017, and now teach primarily over zoom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Musical Theatre
- Vocalab Vocal Educator Toolkit 2022
- Trauma Informed Voice Practitioner
- Mental Health First Aid
- Grade 8 AMEB Musical Theatre (A+)
- Grade 8 Trinity Guildhall Classical Voice (A+)
- Grade 4 Musicianship
Most recently I played Sandy in Grease at QPAC, Sophie in Mamma Mia at The Events Centre and Jenny understudy/Swing in Aspects of Love at The Hayes Theatre. I was the Soprano in The Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols broadcast nationally on Channel 9.
I strongly believe in the importance of balancing technique, musicality and connection to music. Students will enjoy the music they are singing, however it won't stop there. They will also gain an understanding of their voice and be given specific science-based exercises to help them improve.

Reviews
“Amazing. She increased my range by the second lesson using techniques you won’t find on YouTube.”

“Amazingly patient and helpful. Annelise made me feel comfortable learning how to sing by helping me understand my strengths and weaknesses and adjusting lessons to my needs.”

"Annelise is like a voice physio!"
Annelise has a vast knowledge of the anatomy of how our voices work. She is friendly and good at communicating how techniques work. The class feels well structured, and time is well managed.
