Annelise’s Singing Studio – Lesson & Privacy Policy

Lesson Bookings & Communication
All lessons are reserved exclusively for each student at the time of booking. Communication with the studio secures your lesson time, and invoices are issued following lessons or as arranged. This allows the studio to maintain a consistent schedule for all students.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy (48 Hours Notice Required)
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any lesson cancellation or rescheduling.

• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice may be moved to another available time within the current term or school holiday period.

• Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Rescheduled Lessons
If a lesson is rescheduled at the student’s request:

• The make-up lesson must be completed within the same school term or during the immediate school holiday period (or within 2 months for students not following school terms).

• Rescheduled lessons cannot be carried over into the following term.

• If a suitable time is not found within the term, holiday period, or 2-month window, the lesson will be forfeited.

Missed Lessons
Missed lessons without notice will be charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling.

Studio Cancellations
In the event that Annelise’s Singing Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, a make-up lesson will be offered at a mutually convenient time or credited where appropriate.
Due to the nature of the studio being run by working industry professionals, occasional schedule changes may arise because of performances, auditions, or professional commitments. Every effort will always be made to provide as much notice as possible and to offer suitable alternative arrangements.

 

Privacy Policy

Collection of Information
Annelise’s Singing Studio collects personal information such as student and parent/guardian names, contact details, emergency contacts, and relevant learning or health information where necessary. This information is collected solely for the purpose of providing safe, effective singing tuition and managing bookings.

Use of Information
Personal information is used to:

• Schedule and manage lessons

• Communicate regarding bookings, payments, and studio updates

• Ensure student safety and wellbeing

• Support each student’s learning experience

Personal information will never be sold, shared, or distributed to third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.

Storage & Protection
All personal information is stored securely and is accessible only to Annelise’s Singing Studio. Reasonable steps are taken to protect information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.

Photos & Recordings
Occasionally, audio or video recordings may be taken during lessons for educational purposes (e.g., technique review or performance practice). These will not be shared publicly without explicit written permission from the student or parent/guardian.

Access & Updates
Students and parents/guardians may request access to or correction of their personal information at any time by contacting the studio.

Agreement
By booking lessons with Annelise’s Singing Studio, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the above policies. These guidelines ensure fairness, privacy, and the best possible learning experience for all students.
